You must:
• Use research to support your points.
• Use in-text Harvard Cite-them-right referencing to cite and reference this
research. Provide a reference list at the end of your essay.
• Use an appropriate structure for your essay, with an introduction,
conclusion, and clear body paragraphs.
• Use appropriate language and linkers to describe problems and solutions.
• Write about at least two problems and two solutions.
• Include a minimum of 7 sources.
• Each page should be numbered.
• Give the full title/question of your essay on page 1 (see the sample cover
page on the assessment brief).
• Leave good/standard margins.
• The essay should be double spaced (this allows your tutor to write
comments at the relevant point in the essay).
• Use a reasonable font size – 12 point is recommended.
• Make sure you use the Harvard Cite-them-right system for in-text citations.
• You must include a reference list and use the Harvard Cite-them-right
system. Your reference list must be on a new page with a clear heading.
• Good quality relevant illustrations may be included. These can be
interspersed throughout the essay or collected at the end. Images should
also be referenced and given proper captions and numbers.
