Module 9
Discuss the role of mobile apps
in globalization that are helping to bring people throughout the world
online. List and describe at least two of the apps to include the purpose
of the apps.
Discuss a global information
system and some of the benefits of a global information system. Discuss
the two dimensions of control and coordination that can be used to define
a global information system.
Briefly describe the four types
of organizational structures that do business across national borders.
Discuss some of the obstacles
associated with using global information systems.
Module 10
Discuss the systems development
life cycle (SDLC) and briefly describe the phases of the SDLC.
Discuss the purpose of a
feasibility study and list the five types of feasibility.
Discuss prototyping and some of
the reasons that prototyping is used.
Discuss some situations where
the use of the SDLC may not be appropriate and some approaches that may be
more appropriate in these situations.
The purpose of the Exercise is to help you better understand the
key points. It is not sufficient to state your opinions alone; you must be able
to back up your responses by applying concepts and topics from the text with
the information that supports your findings. The expected response length is
3-5 sentences per question.
