The Module 5 readings provide you with a brief background on recent issues related to student and campus safety. In a 3 – 5 page paper, assess whether or not your work site has implemented revised student safety procedures or revised campus safety procedures. Use documents or interviews with colleagues to conduct your assessment. Include a brief summary of the changes. Discuss what event or policy reform influenced the decision to revise the safety protocol. Discuss the reaction of campus leadership, faculty, staff, students, and parents to the new protocol. Evaluate if there are enough resources available to implement the safety procedures. As an educational leader or future educational leader, reflect on what could be done to improve student or campus safety at your work site.
