Your paper should include a reflection on the following areas based on your clinical experiences throughout your career or specifically the career you are now working in:

How can you promote professionalism in the workplace?
What does professionalism mean to you personally?
Share at least four professional traits/attributes and values that you believe to be a stipulation of any professional involved in caring for patients. How does one’s personal integrity relate to professionalism (how one behaves/interacts daily in one’s personal life)?
Share positive and negative examples of professionalism or lack thereof that has influenced you during your career.
Discuss what it means to be respectful of colleagues (other healthcare professionals, physicians, nurses and outside clients) and patients.
How does “uses knowledge base and skills in the field” demonstrate conducting yourself in a professional manner?
How does your professional code of ethics influence you personally (in terms of technical standards, ethical standards, professional image and your personal “attitude” towards health care professionals and the patients you care for and interact with?) Be specific and address one specific principle.
What do the words altruism, humanism and excellence mean to you?
