Subject: Journal discussion

Guidelines:
– Discussions should be written in third person, past tense when required.
– Length: Journal discussions should be 1 ½ to 2 pages in length (excluding pictures and references).
– They must be in the following format: single-spaced type, size 12 Times New Roman font, 1 inch page margins.
– The reports should include the following sections:
1. Title: You must include a copy of your journal article with your discussion.
2. Background: An essay on the breakdown of your topic: clinical presentation, epidemiology, pathophysiology, etc…)
3. Management: A description of what treatment would be implemented and how a patient would be managed. Should include any
special instructions and recommended follow-ups.
4. Pros and Cons: Discuss what you feel are the advantages and disadvantages of what is discussed in your journal article.
5. References: At least three references additional reference should be included to back up the information from your chosen journal
article. It is recommended that references be listing using MLA citation formatting. In-text citations should be included: it is recommended that a superscript number matching the reference number of the list be use.
