The paper must include
– A discussion of the social institution (include some of the important characteristics of an institution as well).
– At least 1 theory to explain your gender/sex issue that you’ve noticed.
– Detailed critical discussion of gender/sex and how that is communicated in the social
institution you’ve chosen. Be sure to discuss power relationships and use
– Explain how you might reimagine oppressive gender/sex constructs and performances. What could, would gender/sex look like in your chosen institution if you could change it?
– Cite the page numbers in text
– Must use the textbook as a primary source, can also reference any media given.
