Discussion Post: ANTI-Imperialism

We will be doing a debate for this discussion. This is the imperial
debate, 1898–1901 (and after). The country was divided on whether or
not the U.S. should become an empire and acquire overseas colonies,
especially if it meant war against the Filipinos.
If your last name begins A-L, you will write a page-long post in
FAVOR of imperialism using the sources in the modules. No citations are
needed but only use course materials and identify the source by name in
your post.
If your last name is M-Z, you will write a page-long post OPPOSED to
imperialism using the sources in the modules. No citations are needed
but only use course materials and identify the source by name in your
