You could use attractive pictures, layout, data, etc. The information should be at the level of the course, and it should be clear enough for the reader/audience. Introduction (description)
Identify the disease (by formal and common name, if applicable)
Determine the organ system it affects.
History of the Disease (when, who, how about the discovery etc)
Who is affected by this disease? (age, gender, cultural group etc)
Number of people affected by this disease. (nationwide or world statistics)
Causative agents
Proper names (common names if applicable) and its classification: bacteria, protist, fungus, virus, or helminth.
Pathogenesis and Virulence factors
Explain how the disease is transmitted/spread (stage and condition)
Describe the disease sign and symptoms
Culture and Diagnosis (what samples are collected, and what techniques are available to diagnose)
Prevention and treatment
Give advice on how to respond to infection (ignore/self treat/see doctor)
Mention treatment options by doctor (drugs, type, side effects, precautions etc.)
Speculate on the prognosis for recovery
Suggest prevention measures
