To practice true cultural humility, you must also be aware of and sensitive to historic realities such as violence against and oppression of certain groups of people. Select, and research one of the four topics (1) the Tuskegee Syphilis Study, (2). the Tulsa Massacre of 1921, the Chinese Exclusion Acts of 1882, or Native American poverty. Briefly discuss the violence, oppression, or distrust that occurred in your selected topic. Describe cultural safety.
