Here is a link to find Block’s Annual Report where you can find the financial statements: Block Annual Report from Investor Relations Web Site (Links to an external site.)

The actual financial statements have the header “Square, Inc.” The company changed its name last year to Block.
HINT: the total number of shares outstanding for a company is always on the bottom of the Form 10K filed with the SEC. This is helpful to use for calculating the market cap or equity capitalization of the firm. The stock price can be found going to Google or Yahoo finance and the ticker symbol for Block is SQ.
The proper way to do ratio analysis using BALANCE SHEET data is to take an average of the two years’ values (2020 and 2019). So saying you are calculating the current ratio. If current assets for 2020 are 30,000,000 and current assets for 2019 are 20,000,000, the proper figure to use would be the average of these two numbers or 30,000,000 + 20,000,000 = 50,000,000 / 2 = 25,000,000 for average current assets in the numerator.
You can either enter numbers in Excel and do the calculations electronically and upload the spreadsheet file or use a calculator and show work for calculations in the margins on the ratio analysis PDF sheet I provided above, then submit as a PDF by May 25th, 11:59PM. I know it may be tempting to pull a group together and each do a ratio or two, however, you will never master and understand them properly if you don’t do the work yourself.
