Do you agree with Stanovich that Psychology does not receive the respect it is due as a science?

1) Some have said that modern psychology is really just the psychology of undergraduate introduction to psychology students. What does this quip convey about the ‘artificiality’ problem in research and what do you make of that problem in light of the readings covered in this course?
2) Do you agree with Stanovich that Psychology does not receive the respect it is due as a science? Why or why not? If not, what would help achieve greater respect?
