Do you think the FAA should write an airport up for an infraction they find during the annual inspection that is documented on the daily inspection sheet or do you think the FAA should work with the airport to come up with a solution for correcting the problem as soon as possible?

Do you think the FAA should write an airport up for an infraction they find during the annual inspection that is documented on the daily inspection sheet or do you think the FAA should work with the airport to come up with a solution for correcting the problem as soon as possible? (An example would be chipped paint on the airfield that needs to be removed and replaced but the airport does not have the resources to complete the project immediately.) Could a NOTAM be issued for the discrepancy until it is corrected?
