Client reported to me when she came into the office that she has not had enough money to buy food when she goes shopping since she lost her job. This lady told me that when she feels well enough she takes the bus to the soup kitchen for something to eat. She says some days she doesn’t eat and that she has lost 12llbs in 2 months. The lady cried when she told me she doesn’t like the idea of applying for food stamps. She said it embarrasses her to ask for help but she has thought about it a lot and will probably need food stamps in order to get by. I told her I would bring information about applying for food stamps when I visit her in a couple of days or maybe next week sometime. SW
