Does a struggle they are involved in signal a social injustice?

Write an in depth profile of someone whom you have never met before and has an interesting story. This person need not have fame or power. You might reflect on the larger significance of an everyday person’s story. Does a struggle they are involved in signal a social injustice? Are this person’s activities representative of a social trend? Most of all, is this person’s story something you think others will find compelling. Of course, this is not a biography. You will select elements of this person’s life and construct a compelling narrative.
References/Notes: Include a list of people you interviewed with their contact information, along with complete citations for all books and articles you consulted to verify the facts in your essays. Ideally, every fact should be supported by at least two different sources. If you find the information on the web, ask yourself how reliable the website is. In some cases, I may ask you to provide me with notes from your interviews or observations, so be sure to save these and keep them well organized with dates, times, location etc.
Criteria for assessment:
• Story builds itself around action and details.
• Characters reveal moral complexity.
• Essay follows a compelling narrative structure.
• Language is clear and precise.
• Essay lacks mechanical, spelling or grammatical errors.
