In your film review, you will answer and explain the following questions:

1. According to the film, who is Moises Serrano and what are his experiences with intersectional oppression? (E.g., consider the conversation he and his partner have around the 33-minute mark).

2. Does Moises experience fit within the scope or mandate of most contemporary US LGBT organizations? Explain your answer.

3. How is Serrano’s story intersectional? Explain how borders/borderlands are an intersectional issue.

4. What is the government’s role in this story and how can we understand borders to be an inherent form of violence, especially towards Queer and Trans people?
