Describe the exhibit in detail (is it a solo or group exhibit, how many images) and identify the fundamental concepts and
methods used by the photographer or photographers (if it is a group show).
Each of these components must be answered clearly, if they are not it will affect your grade.
1. Research the biography of the photographer. What is their background? Something relevant but brief.
2. What was the intention of the photographer, what do you think they are trying to communicate?
3. Does the exhibit address specific issue/s? What are they?
4. How does the time period in which the photographer lived affect their work and message?
5. What other photographer/s do you think might have influenced the photographer you are writing about?
6. What is your interpretation of the photographs in the exhibit? Analyze and demonstrate your findings in your review.
