Consider: Does the media contribute to a rape culture that normalizes, accepts and/or glorifies the sexual violence of women? And depending upon your response, does this (media portrayal) have any effect on real-life cases of sexual violence? And (also depending upon your response) would strategies such as the “bystander movement” be an effective tool in assisting to combat this (why/why not)?
