Does the Philosophy of Still Law Apply to Modern Day?

I have written an essay but it needs to be rewritten and achieve the following bullet points. The citation are already done but the essay just needs to be rewritten and new citations are welcome.

In the UK, Jurisprudence relates only to the knowledge and application of law. It does not relate to the Philosophy of Law, which is considered to be a field in its own right. In the US, I am aware that jurisprudence can and does include not only the knowledge and application of law, but also some philosophy of law.

You essay needs to do the following:

Decide if you are referring to the Law in the US or the rest of the world. If it the US, then you need an introductory paragraph that explains that but also explains the US understanding of Jurisprudence compared to that of, for example the UK. You probably also need to change your title to include the word Jurisprudence especially as the bulk of your essay still revolves around it
If you are referring to the law outside of the US, then you need to ensure that the essay either talks about philosophy of law, or jurisprudence but not both.
You quote Howell – but Howell’s book does not refer to the Philosophy of Law but to the Philosophy of Methodology – and much of his writing is science based and refers to methods used to prove philosophical theory, particularly relating to the field of science. Please ensure that your quotes relate only to the subject of law in the legal sense rather than to the laws of nature which are an entirely different matter. You devote a significant word allocation to Howell but I am not clear of its relevance to your title.
Make sure each of your paragraphs has a sound argument that is clear and to the point. You may wish to think about summarizing a mini conclusion at the end of each paragraph, relating back to the essay title.
One last thing, I am sure this is a typo – but just in case….in your essay you refer to Romanians, within a section where you are talking about ancient philosophy, specifically the Greek Philosophers Plato and Aristotle. You also refer to the Romans and presumably the Roman empire. If this is who you are referring to by ‘romanians’ then you should just use the term Roman, or the Roman Empire. Romanians is a term for the people of Romanian not the region now known as Italy.
