Some ideas: thesis can be along the lines of peoples thinking varies from others and from other cultures. everyone has different thinking and people of different cultures can think differently because of the environment they grew up in.
A counterargument could be that someone could say that people think the same based on the region of the world/culture. This could be true, considering that Nisbett talked about the East vs West thinking, but that doesn’t mean that all people think the same in general.
