This is the prompt for your first assignment which is a double spaced 1.5-2 page essay on the video we watched in class titled: “The Earth Revealed: Down to Earth”

Make sure to go into a little detail on TWO of the specific case studies (exploring for fossil fuels, managing soil and groundwater sustainably, mitigating the destructive impacts of volcanoes, earthquakes, and landslides).
Also, for EACH earth science application case study speculate on how each segment might be different if the series were made today. (no right or wrong answer on this – just speculation).
You will be graded on the essay being the appropriate length (must be at LEAST 1.5 pages), for basic mechanics (spelling, punctuation, and remember to indent paragraphs), as well as content.
Type up on a word (doc or docx). Please use a 12 point font (preferable times new roman, double spaced, and no larger than 1 inch margins).
