Persuasive Essay Requirements:
The introduction must consist of seven to eight sentences, two pieces of borrowed information, and an argumentative thesis.
The essay must consist of a minimum of three body paragraphs that support the thesis sentence.
Each body paragraph must contain research, including an authority (expert), a statistic, and an example (study conducted, etc.).
The essay must address the opposition (a rebuttal paragraph, for example).
The essay must include a clear conclusion that reinforces the thesis and is at least six sentences.
The essay must be three to five pages, plus a Works Cited page.
The essay must have a Works Cited page listing the sources used within the paper (five minimum). These sources must come from the EBSCO databases ONLY
