For both classes, the clinical (topic) inquiry is: “What are the best PPE practices for Healthcare staff’s personal safety?

Whether you are working in an ICU, COVID-dedicated unit, an outpatient setting, or out in the general community after work, personal protective safety practices continue from one place to another.

Read the article by Duan (2021) Personal Protective Equipment in COVID-19 Impacts on Health Performance, Work-Related Injuries, and Measures for Prevention. Find the link on the instruction page.

The clinical (topic) inquiry is What are the best PPE practices for Healthcare staff’s personal safety? Three hundred (300) words are required in EBP class for your problem statement. (You can re-post your problem statement from the AWN (writing) II course if it meets the word count.) Use excellent APA 7th ed. elements (paragraph organization, sentence structure, grammar spelling, APA7 reference order.

Specifically,

Introduce your hospitals (or work/community environments) increased COVID19 infection control safety practices for Healthcare employees, patients, and/or the public during the pandemic.
How well does your facility properly educate staff about how, when, and what PPE wear? How adequate is the personal safety preparation?
What PPE problems have you observe or have personally experienced?
If you dont work currently, ask a practicing nurses opinion (you can ask a classmate) on the personal protective safety practices as related to the COVID19 pandemic. You may also create a problem statement from the EBP articles you are reading and appraising.
Synthesize your problem statement using the above videos and articles (and any article youve read in EBP class) on PPE safety practices, and your personal experience and opinion:
What is the practice problem?
How does it impact you or your practice?
What is the significance of the issue?
Why is this an important healthcare safety issue to find evidence for?
Sum up the problem with your conclusion. Include how this affects your practice.
List references in APA7 format.
