My topic concerns the economic growth of Dubai over the last two decades. In my essay, I’m examining the govenrnment policies implemented the sparked it’s growth durign the time period. So I need like a brief history, on when Dubia was founded, and then what policies/major events occured that sparked it’s growth. For example, one of them was the establishment of the Jebel Ali FreeZone/Port in 1985 which boosted it trade. Then, there are also other freezones that followed in the early 2000’s and etc. Need to examine why they were built, what they planned on improving, and what were the economic impacts of them. Need an economic analysis (can use recent news articels, ex: the Jebel Ali FreeZone contributed ~25% to Dubia’s GDP so it’s still pretty significiant and etc).
