After reading both articles, choose one additional article from the list below and write
summaries of all three articles. Then make connections between each of the three
articles and experiences you have had in the classroom as a teacher or student. You
will find the additional articles in the
submodule entitled Potential Choice Articles
.
These are practitioner-oriented articles that describe an activity or a way to
implement STEM learning in the classroom. These articles are intended to generate
ideas on implementing the Engineering Design Process in the classroom. Some of
the 6 articles are geared more towards elementary while others are geared more
towards middle and high school. Some articles explicitly describe a learning activity
while others suggest ideas for plans or expand on a component of STEM Education.
