The body of the final paper will be a minimum of twenty-five pages, not including footnotes and bibliography. It will conform to the style guide of the American Political Science Association (which is based on the 17th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style). This style guide will be provided to students on Blackboard and reviewed in class. The entire portfolio (including the research paper) will use Times New Roman 12-point font with one space after periods, double-spacing between lines, and one-inch margins. The outline should be a topical-style outline using the traditional Roman numeral numbering system. The annotated bibliography should include bibliographic entries in alphabetical order, formatted with proper hanging indentations, and with a paragraph-length annotation for each source used in the research paper.
