PICO QUESTION: In adult patients presenting to clinic XYZ with UTI symptoms what outcome be giving empirical antibiotics to compare the new implemented policy and compare with before when we did not have the policy. ( previous free style practice).
How many more antibiotic, how many few antibiotics will be written, how many more or less resistance streams there will be.
Compare the number of prescriptions before and after policy was establihed , Compare the number of time culture come and we found out prescription was wrong (Bacteria was resistant to the empiric antibiotic given ).

Do retrospective chart review: How many patients in the previous 90 days how many patients came with UTI symptoms with negative nitrites and did mot received antibiotics. Evaluate the percentage. Then implement the policy and then for 90 days after policy was implemented what percentage of patients came in with same symptoms with negative nitrites and were giving antibiotics. Evaluate decreased or increased on the number of prescriptions before and after policy was established , Compare the number of time culture come and we found out prescription was wrong (Bacteria was resistant to the empiric antibiotic given ).
What is the effect of all providers are in the same page. Doing the same thing. Not inappositely prescribing ABT. Will the number going down? Patients are getting ABT appropriately?
