meet with someone in your life that is not in this class – family, friend, co-worker – for at least 20 minutes. using a set of prepared questions, explore the level of knowledge this person has about restorative justice. using your own knowledge from the course, share what you know about rj. explore and evaluate their response to this information and the degree to which they see the benefits and challenges of it. you will provide a write up and present what you experienced and learned with the class.

after completing the interview, you will prepare a 5 page (double spaced, essay format, 5 pages do not include reference and title page) write up with the following information:
1. which option did you choose and why? how did you prepare for the interview?
2. summarize what you learned from the person you interviewed and what they learned from you.
please write class info from slides as if i talked about it through the interview
3. share your reaction to the experience – what did you learn? how did what you learn relate or fail to relate to course readings and lecture? what surprised you about the experience?
4. please attach the list of questions you used to complete the assignment (even if you didn’t use all of them). this does not count towards the 5 page word count for this paper.
