Enterprise Architecture

Based on the Foundations for Collaborate EA, the building blocks of Lean and the relationship to Agile. These methodologies can be enriched by collaboration with the use of Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0.
Present a working definition of both of these technologies and relate them to the foundational aspects of EA. Finally, share the vision of Collaborative EA for the future and specifically,
(a) present a plan of how to incorporate emerging technologies into the framework of EA. The plan should include a strategy for phasing in these new emerging technologies. the term “business-IT” has been used extensively in EA. This is purposeful to demonstrate the importance of aligning EA to the business needs of the enterprise. The concept of distributed computing is computer software (or any form of computing) that requires the involvement of multiple computers, remotely connected to contribute to computation or some type of information processing. For business enterprises, this means developing a process that marries networked computers with embedded business processes, each playing a role.
(b) Provide a construct that demonstrates the use of distributed computing. Your construct should involve the client/server network communications model.
(c) What is the ultimate goal of a distributed computing system and how does this fit into the EA methodology. The financial justification of EA or any EA or IT-related project is important to the CIO and other IT managers. IT investment analysis is a crucial and mandatory aspect of EA.
(d) Provide the components, steps, and procedures for performing an IT investment analysis. Your analysis should also address how the implementation and integration of emerging technologies add to the costs and describe some benefits and risks of this integration.
