For the final draft of your detailed outline, make sure you include:
A literary thesis statement that presents an arguable, non-factual opinion about the text/s you plan to write about
A description of which literary theory you plan to use (IF you plan to use one for 1 of your 3 sources)
What context (historical/ author information/literary theory information) you would provide in your introduction
At least 3 main points you would argue to prove your thesis statement
At least one counter-argument or alternative interpretation of your thesis
3 significant quotes listed from the text/s you plan to write about, and 3 citations from your 3 sources, plus citing the quotes in MLA format. The 3 source citations can either prove or counter your thesis.
A map of your concluding paragraph, including:
How you would summarize the ground you have covered in the essay
How you could possibly rework or refine the thesis
How you would you restate the points you have made in a different way
How you would focuses the significance of the essay for readers
What does the future hold for this topic/literary period/text

A separate Works Cited Page in MLA format (same as for Annotated Bibliography with annotations removed)
