Research the person utilizing at least 5 academic sources (Wikipedia, Encyclopedias of any kind,Prezi, Sparknotes, History.com, etc.. and your textbook do not count in the 5 source minimum). At least one of the sources must be a Primary Source Document ( a first person account that was written at the time of the event–diary, journal, government document, etc). All sources must be cited at least once in the paper and included in the works cited at the end of the paper. The 4 secondary sources must be from College Library online data bases–JSTOR or academic search complete or approved by the instructor. Other acceptable sources can be from colleges or universities- .edu or government documents or websites– .gov
Essay Prompt Guidelines/Questions:
1. What or how did the individual contribute to the development of the United States?
2. You must fully discuss at least TWO specific examples of what or how the individual contributed to the development of the U.S.
3. Only ONE paragraph may be dedicated to the individual’s early life. The focus of the essay is the contribution to the U.S.
Guidelines for the Assignment:
The essay should be 3- 5 word processed, double-spaced pages in 12 point Times New Roman or Arial font.
