After you choose an essay topic from the list in Module 1, your task is to write an essay that explores the topic. You will look at the research on your topic to determine how the topic is viewed in the educational world. If you would like to write on another topic, please submit it to me for approval before you post your topic. These topics were compiled by a committee to meet course objectives.
Your essay should be 600 – 700 in words in length, and you need to support your assertions with published research (approximately 5-6 sources). Your sources may NOT be from blogs or .com articles. Sources from .gov are acceptable, but you should also include articles from peer reviewed journals. Your course textbook is always an acceptable source.
Write the essay in third person. Also, you can adapt the topic to fit adult education, if necessary.
Please use graduate level grammar and spelling. In a graduate course, professionalism is important. Include a cover sheet and a reference page that are APA style.
