In your essay, you should evaluate how this film shapes viewers’ understanding of the past and
the events, being as specific as possible about the “crafted” nature of the story. This might

• Perhaps most importantly, if applicable: Does the film pass judgment, overtly or subtly?
The essay should have a clear thesis, good paragraph structure, and a bibliography, including a
