The essay should follow edited Standard English for sentence structure, grammar, punctuation, spelling, usage, and
mechanics as well as accurately use Chicago Style citation and documentation guidelines.

Sources for the paper must be scholarly such as books by historians, peer-reviewed journals or scholarly websites (i.e.,
those ending in .gov, .edu, or .mil). No more than half of the references can be from the Internet. DO NOT USE
Wikipedia as a reference. You should use a minimum 3-5 sources
