Using the Essay Two Template, write an essay arguing for your analysis of how COVID-19 is a pandemic. For this essay, you should choose the two pandemic characteristics that you think are the most important.
You should choose 2 of the 8 characteristics you already analyzed and defined in your quad chart: Wide Geographic Extension; Disease Movement; High Attack Rates & Explosiveness; Minimal Population Immunity; Novelty; Infectiousness; Contagiousness; or Severity
That means that this essay will be four paragraphs — introduction, 2 body paragraphs and conclusion — and will be 2-3 pages when completed.
The Essay Two Template (1) creates your argument’s structure. It also (2) ensures that you are writing statements. Finally, it (3) logically organizes your analysis. Notice that this template builds directly on the structure used in your quad chart to organize your analysis and definitions.

Because you are using the template, you do not have to worry about “how” to write this essay, but rather how to explain your ideas as clearly as possible. Using the templates automatically means that you are writing statements! Focus on using the templates to clearly state your ideas.
Use your definitions and analysis from last week’s Metacognition Assignment: What is a Pandemic? Chart to draft your essay. Do not provide quotations for this essay. Analysis means that you are able to explain everything in your own words.
However, you do not need to provide the standard name/date/professor/course information at the top of this essay!
