Length: 8-12 slides (12 is the maximum, or 14 if six in group).
Design: Clean, professional design, with visual interest (such as clip art for slides with empty space). One consistent background. No transitions needed. No narration.
Content: Title Slide, Introduction (which philosophies the group is discussing, and which would benefit a business), Philosophies (definition, examples, compare-contrast). In general, use three bullet-points with information per slide, with in-text citations for the definitions (and for examples, if from a source), and full references on a separate Reference slide. Error-free mechanics. See Rubric for more details.
Compare-Contrast Tips – Each of the three (3) philosophies needs to be compared to two (2) others. Look for elements such as the following: Whether each applies to one person or to a group, or whether it needs to be written as the law or if it can be what is right/fair under the circumstances, whether it focused on the process or end result, etc.
Examples Tips – these can be brief, and it is best to use an example from a business situation. For instance, the pricing of Epi-Pens, accounting/investment fraud examples, fraudulent advertising, treatment of employees, etc.
