“Memos” are critical reflections on the subject material. Memos are ruminations of the readings and class discussions and are not to be a simple regurgitation of the material; rather, they are designed as a critique and reflection. Memos are 2-3 pages written in 11 point Calibri font, single-spaced, with 1 inch margins, and without spaces after paragraphs. Use in-text citations with endnotes and cite Conley and Garcia in every memo. Each memo is worth 12.5% of the final grade and students will complete a total of FOUR memos throughout the semester.
