Ethos, Logos discussion forums (1 PAGE ETHOS, 1 PAGE LOGOS).

This response requires objectivity and will work better if you are able to view yourself from an outside perspective. How would a stranger view your social media profile (choose one, like Facebook or Instagram)? What kind of impression might he/she have of your character? The respond question asks you to analyze some aspects of your character, true or not, that might be conveyed by the photos, videos, or messages you have posted online. Analyze the ethos you see projected in your profile. Be specific; give examples. I would like at least 2-3 specific examples from your social media pages (i.e. you can copy/paste statuses, describe stories, and include pictures; any visual example should be followed by your explanation).
If you do not have a social media profile, then you may reply to this forum focusing on a friend or a family member’s profile instead. In your replies to classmates, aim to be analytical and constructive. The goal here is to analyze the ethos we project in our profiles. It is valuable to notice an aspect of your classmate’s character that is projected in their online profile that he/she may not have even noticed. This requires analysis and a certain level of honesty from you.

Discuss whether the following statements are examples of hard evidence or constructed arguments. Not all cases are clear-cut. (Make sure you add a few sentences offering your reasoning for each answer. I would like to see the reasoning behind each identification you are making).
1. Drunk drivers are involved in more than 50 percent of traffic deaths.
2. DNA tests of skin found under the victim’s fingernails suggest that the defendant was responsible for the assault.
3. A psychologist testified that teenage violence could not be blamed on video games.
4. The crowds at President Trump’s inauguration were the largest on record.
5. “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”
6. Air bags ought to be removed from vehicles because they can kill young children and small-framed adults.
It is required to write your answers on a separate document and then copying/pasting to this forum.
