This ninth week we have one discussion forums (and a workshop forum focusing on outlines).
This discussion forum has two parts, an initial post and at least two peer responses.
For this forum, please return to any of the shared essays we’ve read thus far in the course. (Any essay we all read in Week 1-Week 8 is fine.) Analyze it for thesis and support.
So, please do the following:
Tell us which essay you’re discussing.
Identify the thesis.
Explain how you know it is the thesis.
Identify and evaluate where it is: where is it in the essay? Why? Does that positioning work well?
Then, evaluate the evidence provided. Does it support the thesis? Is it the right kind of evidence? Is it presented in the best order?
