Literature Review Context Section Draft
Context Draft

In 1 ½-2 pages double spaced, introduce your topic. Explain enough background to show how it does or could affect a discipline, community, or other important groups, and explain your overall organizational theme or pattern. You might share your initial discovery of this issue, problem, or area of study, so your reader can understand your perspective or explain what is interesting to you about your topic and why. There should be minimal outside sources in this area. Maybe a statistic, but no evaluation of sources in this part.

Just like in the proposal-this is a summary of your topic with a few other things added in. You should take the context from your proposal and build on that to create the context for the literature review. The work is already half-way done! The context in this section SHOULD NOT just be copied and pasted for the context section for the literature review (I do check for this). You should build on the context you have already written. There should be more in depth information than was in the proposal.
