Explain in detail in your own words. Explain how and why you see this example from the chapter as similar to today.
Explain who/what you think in modern society is orchestrating/causing the example you see as similar to this specif chapter.
Once you’ve finished the book and all chapters, you’ll brain storm a thesis, complete a PSA, and write your essay. Think of the journals as a short writing, maybe five sentences at most per chapter, but you can make it longer if you like.

Write an essay answering the following questions: Is it 1984 today? If so, why, and who is the modern equivalent of “the party”? If not, why not and what group, values, etc. prevents something like 1984 from occurring in our time. (2-5 pages, but you can make it longer if you like)
