TERM PAPER INSTRUCTIONS
(Due on April 2 at 11:59 pm)
1. The title of the term paper is “Genomic Data and the Transformation of
Marketing.”
2. The paper should cover the following two questions:
a) What is genomic data? (Explain genetic data so that an average
person can understand what it is, and how it works.) Describe, in
detail, at least three key attributes of genomic data. (50%)
b) Explain how genomic data can beneficially be used to better
understand Consumer Behavior. Describe, in detail, at least five
key potential uses of genomic data in marketing strategy or
consumer behavior. (50%)
3. It is recommended that the answers to each of the questions be around 5
double-spaced pages in length. (The entire paper should be around 10
double-spaced pages in length, not including references or figures.)
4. I would expect at least 20 references for the term paper BEYOND the two
papers given to you to get you started.
5. Please structure your term paper using sub-headings, numbering, bullets, etc.
It is recommended that you use tables and figures to strengthen your paper.
Points will be reduced for poor structure and poor writing.
6. The term paper should be submitted both via CANVAS and email by the due
date and time noted above.
7. It is recommended that you start working on the paper from the first
