2. Explain how REAL CULTURE views the goal (how it really is in today’s society).

I choose the value of honesty.
IDEAL WORLD: Individuals would want to be honest because that is the right thing to be if you are a good person. Politicians would tell everyone thetruth, for example. Religion, politics, education, socialization would be based upon being honest with yourself and others.
REAL CULTURE: It is impossible to rely on the truth in our society today. People are dishonest as a way to exhibit power and manipulate others. I
think it is very sad to think that societies don’t value honesty.
