Explain how technology has created a dystopia in the world.

I already submitted my research proposal which had some specific points that must be included in the final paper. I need the paper to talk about how technology has been created with utopian intent, but the effects it is having on the world a quite detrimental. Things like the technology used during WWll to kill jewish people, and how today there is anticipation
for the metaverse. Things that have basically changed humanity’s perception of life. One of my sources talked about
technology how has made us forget the true meaning of utopia which is to save humanity from misery. Instead we have become rather selfish in our endeavours. Something else to consider is how humans have lost basic human ethics, their sense of reality (being addicted to social media etc.), and how everyone is basically just extremely self-obsorbed and
has a superiority complex.
