The paper should be at least 4 pages in length.

The text must be double spaced. Leave 1-inch margins on all sides.
A descriptive title, in bold font, should appear at the head of the first page.
Place your name at the end of the paper, in bold font, but nowhere else.
A bibliographical note should indicate which text(s) you are using.
Cite references in the body of the paper, in parentheses.

The world has been plunged into an unprecedented crisis by the coronavirus pandemic.
Choose the political thinker we’ve studied who you think speaks most clearly to this crisis.
Explain how that thinker’s ideas are relevant in this crisis situation.
Then weigh the adequacy of this thinker’s ideas in helping us to meet the crisis.
The Political Thinker that you will be writing about is Niccolo Machiavelli and the text that Machiavelli wrote which you will be referencing is The Prince (Hacket Edition)
The Prince is the one source you will be using.
