Write a 1,000 word argument paper (typed, double-spaced, 12 point New Times Roman font,
Five Paragraph Format) for this question:
How did the Enlightenment impact the political and social development of modern-day Europe?
Use historical information gathered from independent research to substantiate a well-structured
historical argument in response to the topic question.
Note: The Scientific Revolution and the Industrial Revolution are not the Enlightenment. Therefore,
these aspects should not be the focus of discussion.
Requirements:

– Maximum of 2 sources from the internet.
– Ebooks are acceptable and can be counted as a non-internet source
– You may use anything published in the online database of JSTOR. The Five Paragraph Format means an Introduction Paragraph, Three Body Paragraphs
(although more is acceptable and even encouraged), and a Conclusion Paragraph. Be sure to write a
strong thesis statement in your Intro paragraph, including a preview of the evidence you will be
using in the Body portion of the essay. Provide historical evidence that supports your thesis. You must cite (this does not have to be a quote, as you can draw information from a source)
each source at least twice in the essay. For example, if you use the minimum of five sources,
there should be a minimum of ten citations.Be sure to cite your sources using Long Note, Short Note, and Bibliography formats of Chicago
Style (17th edition). However, put your Note citations on a separate page labeled as “Endnotes.” The Endnotes page is placed after your last
page of content. The Bibliography page is placed last. Make two parts to this page. The first part should be labeled
