Explain how the intervention is carried out (e.g., number of sessions or treatments, length of sessions, “homework” required, who is involved).

Intervention – Using the empirical literature, select an evidence-supported intervention that has been demonstrated to be effective for the issue/population you chose. Provide a detailed summary of the intervention (specific strategies, phases, topics, number of sessions, etc.).
Evidence – Following your description of the evidence-based intervention, synthesize and integrate the extant empirical literature (at least 8 empirical studies). You may either describe each studies’ contribution to the knowledge base sequentially or you may group your discussion of their contributions thematically. This section shows how the efficacy of the intervention has been assessed. Use your published scholarly journal articles’ literature reviews as exemplars. [In an Appendix: Create a chart that summarizes your eight (8) empirical, scholarly studies (in order to be empirical, the authors must have analyzed some type of data – no policy analyses, theoretical pieces, meta-analyses) that you’re using to provide the evidence for the outcomes you’ve identified for this intervention. (Consider including the following information: APA citation, the research questions, sample and research methods, the major findings/contributions to the literature, and the limitations of the research in terms of reliability, validity, authenticity, etc.)]
Logic Model – Explain how the intervention is carried out (e.g., number of sessions or treatments, length of sessions, “homework” required, who is involved). Be specific. Describe major outcomes that should be expected of the intervention and explain how the intervention you have chosen results in the outcomes you identified. Create a simple logic model that demonstrates how the intervention will result in the outcomes you identified. The figure and the narrative explanation should match and you should reference the model in your paper per APA format.
Budget – Submit a budget narrative that includes the resources you will need to implement the intervention. The budget should also be submitted as a Table. Review APA guidelines for tables. (Note: Again, appendices, figures, and tables are not included in the page length for this assignment.)
