possible, pick a professional that was serving at least 50 years ago (such as Jane Addams, Grace Coyle, Mary Ellen Richmond, Edith Abbot).
Write a 3-5 paper, APA style with at least 3 references. The paper should address the following topics:
How have the jobs of human services workers changed in the last 200 years? What has stayed the same? How were they trained? Were they
professionals or volunteers? What were some of the early theories used by that social worker? What scholars were prominent in creating
those theories. Provide examples of how they met (or did not meet) the core social work competencies. Review the current ethical standards for Human Services professionals. In what ways did your historical figure meet those ethical standards and in what ways did they not meet
those standards?
