F Project: National Debt Analysis
This is your project for the Principles of Macroeconomics course. The aim of this project is to help you make economic analysis on debt situation at the national level. Chapter 16 will be useful to you. In addition, you are required to research for more information.
For this project, you are required to include the following:

Table of Contents
(a) Brief description of the National Debt situation in the U.S.
(b) Explain how the U.S government managed to accumulate a debt of more than $21 trillion.
(c) To whom does it owe this debt?
(d) Is the debt a burden on future generations?
(e) Explain three recommendations to reduce the national debt
Guidance:
(a) In the “Brief description of the National Debt situation in the U.S.” present a brief overview of the national debt situation.
(b) In the “Explain how the U.S government managed to accumulate a debt of more than $21 trillion” section, you need to explain the things that have led to the accumulation of the debt.
(c) In the “To whom does it owe this debt?” section, provide the categories of whom the government owns the debt.
(d) In the “Is the debt a burden on future generations?”section, provide a comprehensive economic analysis on how the debt relates to future generations.
(e) In the “Explain three recommendations to reduce the national debt” section, take yourself as a policy expert and provide recommendations to reduce the national debt.
