chosen field. Quality books and
professional articles help us to discover a better way of understanding
something we already know about and perhaps something new. The purpose of this project is to get the
student ready for a very likely eventuality in the business world where you
will need to report on the competition and new processes in your field.
We have known the power of books and professional articles
for centuries; Epictetus (Epic-Tee-Tus: 50-135 C.E.) taught “Don’t just say you have read books. Show
that through them you have learned to think better, to be a more discriminating
and reflective person” (Epictetus & Lebell, 1995). Thus, this project
will help you begin business literature research and continue your path of
success in business because in his 1910 book titled The Science of Getting Rich, W. Wattles notes: “Successful action is cumulative in its
results” (Wattles, 2020).

You will identify an article that you find interesting
and has several tie-ins to the textbook. Then create a report explaining the
article to your business instructor.
