Explain the change in you that has occurred between what WAS and what IS or WILL BE from this point forward.

Your reflection is a written exploration of what you have learned in each unit. Learning, in this case, is defined as a relatively permanent change in behaviour based on experience. The experience is your interaction with this course’s content; therefore, you must show me what will change for you based on this material. How to do this? In short, for each unit, students should answer three questions:
• What?
• So what?
• Now what?
WHAT?
Identify the core skill or concepts you are discussing. Explain it in your own words. Don’t use the definition from the lecture or any supporting materials. I want to ensure that you understand not just the topic or issue, but the purpose behind developing it in the context of leadership.
SO WHAT?
Did the particular skill or concepts resonate with you? Is it something with which you have experience? Is it something you had never thought about to any great degree before? Why did it pique your interest? Explain to me why this concept is important. If it isn’t important, why not? How does it fit within the context of the course? Within the context of leadership?
NOW WHAT?
Based on what you have learned in this class, how is your understanding or use of this particular skill or concept going to change? What is different about you, your thoughts, your beliefs, and/or your behaviours regarding this topic because of this course? Will you continue to practice it, or do you feel that your competency on this particular skill or ability is good enough? Explain the change in you that has occurred between what WAS and what IS or WILL BE from this point forward. If there will be no change, explain why not.
In writing your reflection, consider not just the course content, but what you learned in leading the classroom discussions.
The point of this assignment is for you to critically reflect on your growth regarding leadership over the duration of this course and to identify what work is still needed to continue to improve your skills as a leader.
